Uniform
We are uniform school and would like our children to wear the correct uniform, so that the pride we have in our school is reflected in how we’re presented. We would ask for your support in ensuring that your child wears the correct uniform to school each day.
Girls should wear a grey skirt/pinafore, white shirt, school tie and bottle green St. Malachy’s sweatshirt with the school logo. They should wear grey tights or white socks with black shoes (no trainers). During the summer they may wear the green/white gingham summer dress with white socks and black shoes.
Boys should wear grey trousers, white shirt, school tie and bottle green St. Malachy’s sweatshirt with the school logo. They should wear black shoes (no trainers except for PE). During the summer term, they may wear tailored grey shorts with their black shoes.
The P.E kits consists of a white polo shirt, plain dark grey jogging bottoms (no brands are allowed), the school sweatshirt and trainers. Some pupils may already have navy jogging bottoms, so they will be permitted this year, but they must be plain and unbranded. During the summer term, they may wear dark grey or navy shorts (at an appropriate length. i.e. to their knee). They should only wear their P.E uniform to school on their PE days or when they have a sports club after school. Their full uniform should be worn on all other days.
