Pictured are children from P.1 to P.7 using a range of IT resources available at St. Malachy's Primary School. Over the past twelve months St. Malachy’s P.S. with the help from their productive PTA spent £25, 000 plus on IT hardware and software. This has ensured that each classroom in the school has been fitted with a Promethean Interactive Whiteboard. Investment in ICT along with the high level of staff training and revamped school intranet and internet site (www.stmalachysprimary.org ) enables St. Malachy’s P.S. to provide the highest standard of ICT provision across the board. The development of ICT skills are essential in today’s technological era and are a central theme in the new curriculum. These new provisions along with access to virtual learning site such as Learning N.I. the children of St. Malachy’s P.S regularly explore, express views , exhibit and evaluate work relating to ICT manners, further equipping the children for the technological world.
