St. Malachy's held a special awards assembly last week to present a range of certificates and special awards to children in primary one right through to primary seven.
Certificates were awarded to pupils of the week, children who had achieved 100% attendance and children who had partaken in a highly successful Reading Partnership programme.
The final prize was a signed print of a caricature of the famous Dublin band ‘The Script', kindly donated by Ireland's top caricature artist, Niall O'Loughlin. The picture was won by a primary 7 children for her caricature of 44th President of the United States Barack Obama.
